HPCo Terms and Order Form
We specialize in pre-1945 foreign military firearm books, parts, accessories and militaria. We're "small fish in a big pond" but we try to keep our prices lower than the "sharks" via our relatively strict return and ancient flat-rate shipping policies (see below). In an age of price gouging in the industry, we’re sure you can appreciate this.
Please keep in mind that this is a part time business for us. We probably collect the same types of fine firearms and militaria that you do. Over the years we became tired of dealing with the big companies who wouldn’t cater to our selective collector needs. When we’d order a part, they wouldn't even try to search their inventories for the correct marking, type, condition, etc. Eventually ,we decided that we could and would serve the parts buying collector better. Our inventories are small and narrowly focused to serve you better. We will take the time and try to get you the exact part you want! That's not a sales pitch...that’s the way we keep customers coming back.
ORDERING:
SERIAL NUMBERS/MARKINGS/WAFFENAMTS: If you are very specific in what you ask for, we'll search our inventory hard to try to find it (matching up serial numbers is often impossible but we'll look hard). But, you must be specific. What if we can match the WaA but not the SN? Do you still want it? You must be specific. If you don’t specify, we'll assume you just need a part to make your firearm work again and we’ll send you the best one we have on hand at the time of your order.
RETURNS: Simple. We want you to be happy. If you are not, just return your order with the original receipt; We try very hard to correctly describe each item. Please make sure you want it before you order it.
SHIPPING: Simple. We charge a flat $10.40 rate on each parts or accessory order, books go $10.50 each Priority Mail or $9.60 book rate, FFL/C&R pistols $20.00 and rifles $40.00. This covers shipping, packaging, etc. Some times we make a little, some times we lose our asses. As proud Americans, we ship via the U.S. Postal Service. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Now, c'mon fellows, the stuff isn't going to walk to you......
METHOD OF PAYMENT: Check or money order only via this form. We will wait 2 weeks before shipment to allow personal checks to clear. You may also write down your credit card info, full name, number, expiration date, billing address and CVC code on the reverse. We'll run it through the processor here. Make checks or money orders out to : "Historical Parts". Minimum order is $10.00 plus tax (if applicable) shipping and handling.
TAX: Sorry we have to give the Grim Reaper his due (Texas residents only; 0.0825%).
LAYAWAYS: Simple. 25% down will hold your order for 45 days. Balance is due by day 45. On day 46 we restock your order and we keep the 25%...so, make sure you'll be able to pay, OK?
